I’m a therapist in North Carolina, recovering perfectionist, and fellow neurospicy human being.
I believe (pretty freaking strongly) that whether you have an ADHD brain, are Autistic, or live with chronic Depression, PTSD, or Anxiety, there is actually nothing wrong with you.
Instead of pathologizing differences, I help clients understand and embrace their sensitive brains and nervous systems that likely never came with an instruction manual.

Somatic therapy works with sensations in your body (instead of the ‘story’ of what happened) to relieve symptoms. For those neurospicy folx who have trouble identifying specific emotions (raises hand), somatic therapies can be an incredibly helpful approach to healing trauma, regulating your nervous system, and practicing the skill of noticing sensation without being overwhelmed by it.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) focuses on parts of you that have taken on beliefs about yourself or the world that may no longer be serving you. You might have an inner critic part, a rebellious teenage part, a hopeless inner toddler, and more. When we understand our parts and where they come from, we can cultivate self compassion for the survival strategies of our past while learning new skills in the present.
