How this party started.
2020 was the year I changed my life.
I quit my job to start my own business. And my husband, our cats, and I piled our stuff into the back of a Uhaul, put the pedal to the metal, and moved cross-country.
In a pandemic.
And I still remember that feeling, where the flat cornfields of the midwest opened up into expansive, forest-lined mountain ranges. Where you feel so insignificant and transcendent, and you want to laugh and cry at the same time because you don’t quite know what the next chapter holds, but you know it’s better than anything you’re leaving behind.
That was the same feeling I had when I pressed send on the resignation email to my boss, after I decided to leave my agency job to follow my own path.
And as someone with a loooonnnggg history of not following projects to completion, I couldn’t have been more proud of the fact that this time, I stuck the landing.
Because the truth was, this whole wild adventure started with a vision that I allowed space to bloom within me.
And fast forward 12 months, I was now standing in it.
Living it. Breathing it. Embodying it, in the most amazing and surreal ways.
And that’s the same thing I want for you.
To be standing, despite all your doubts and reservations, smack dab in the middle of a vision that you made real.
Because life is too short to be unhappy, burned out, and living someone else’s dream.
